It was a pretty cool idea, but never got finished because of some issues with syncing up the maps... could be revived at some point - on my list somewhere. This is such a useful feature for directions pages. We also actually recently implemented Google Maps on the general Campus Tour site (tour.ua.edu), on the Directions to UA page.
